Max Keiser on Intrade: Has the Republican ‘base’ become the fringe?
Jump to Comments
Max’s latest blog for Intrade asks, “Has the Republican base become the fringe?
The ‘Republican base’ was very excited by the selection of bona-fide evangelical Sarah Palin. The McCain market has plunged, however, as the US voting population got a glimpse of that Republican base.
Rove’s creation has turned into a mob baying for blood and even John McCain seems downright alarmed and frightened by Palin’s supporters.

Neither candidate is electable (Democrat or Republican) — in the parliamentary systems in the rest of the world. In real life they could only cope with dishing out corrupt favors at the level of US city government.
Neither one has the intellect to be able to mitigate the economic problems at hand — and the inertia of the current system will stop any attempts at change.
With the coming of the new president, I can foresee a gradual shutoff of the buying of US Federal Goverment bonds. State governments have already seen the valve of foreign bond investment dry up.

Have had to dodge the tyrants and the assassins…now decided to make another blog and this time hopefully will stick with it (through thick and thin).
Enjoy.

Here’s a clue as to how the Repugs plan to skew the numbers come the sElection.
Wade Rathke started ACORN (with Gov. seed-funds) at my kitchen table. During those first few years it truly was all about reparations for those in dire poverty. But, lately, Wade’s been obsessed with the growth of ‘ACORN International,’ which made great sense in light of the enormity of these NGO budgets. Unfortunately, he’s also alienated much of their prior support base. The claim, as you’ve heard is that they have registered ‘hundreds of thousands’ of illegals to vote in this coming election. Of course, we’ll never know what the real numbers were, but it’s certainly cause for alarm to those who were previously eliminated from the roles for ‘voting while black.’
Meanwhile, Alex Jones, et. all have lately shifted their focus to the issue of Marshal law–not that there is anything any of us can do about it.

…contd: {DOW is off another 645 points, and this blood bath is no longer a matter of fun and games.}
…With hints of marshal law approaching I thought it would be constructive of me to report on the development progress of our local FEMA internment center at Camp Robinson, in North Little Rock. Sadly, everything looks the same since the 60’s. I did not see any new double security fences, no barking dogs, no control towers, laser sensors, covert video cameras, none of that cool ‘Dachau-gear’ that Alex Jones has been advertising. Google earth does show a swastika-shaped building, but we didn’t get that far on to the property to identify it.
However, the staff was really laid-back, and the Sargent was a truly nice guy who said we were free to look around, and that they never received the “$68.Million” that Bush had promised them for their [post 9/11] high-security upgrades. Grinning wisely, he said; “Tell Alex that times are tough.- If the s*-hits the fan, you’re welcome to come back, but you’ll have to bring your own sleeping bags, tents, beer, and bar-b-que supplies!”
